Welcome to BAFTA East Coast

Welcome to the newly designed website of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, East Coast. You are invited to explore the site for information about BEC, our upcoming events and screenings as well as a whole range of new features which will be coming shortly. For  answers to questions about reservations, cancellations and changes refer to the new FAQ section under ACADEMY

In a year of enormous change, the whole Board welcomes you to a new screening season, a brand new look and broader and wider member services. Our Chairman, Gill Rose has written in more detail about these changes.

With this new website, you will find easy access to the reservation system – which we have not changed – via the FAST PASS feature on the Home page as well as Membership and Update Features which you will find at the Members’ Center as well as on the Home Page.

The Members’ Center will have a whole range of Member only services and benefits which will be added to as we grow the website. You will be asked to log in to this section and will be emailed your password when you first use the service.

You will also be able to view galleries from screenings and events throughout the year as well as past years which will be available soon.
